Greenpeace use boulders to stop trawling

Well done to Greenpeace for their great work. This amounts to a very significant precedent and I hope through people-power we can achieve similar results here.Let’s hope politicians start to genuinely take notice.

This fishing technique has wider repercussions than the obvious ones. It impacts biodiversity. It has a flow-on effect to other species.

Importantly overfishing also contributes to the effects of Climate Change.

Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote. Please be a #consciousconsumerIf your fish was mass-caught, it’s not ethical or sustainable.Reposting @sambentley( SOURCE: Greenpeace)
